Licensing of sales packaging

Important information for the license year 2025

From license year 2025, we will offer you system participation for Austria exclusively via a flat-rate contract. For €150 net, the flat-rate contract covers up to 1,500 kg of system participation for sales packaging. To conclude a flat-rate contract, please complete the master data sheet, which you can find via the link below. The contract and the corresponding invoice will be sent to you afterwards.
Important: The license calculator for Germany is not affected by this change.

Important information about the authorized representative:
As of January 1, 2023, companies without a registered office or branch in Austria are required to appoint an authorized representative for the decontamination of their packaging and/or single-use plastic products.
No system participation contract can be concluded without an authorized representative. The authorized representative assumes the company's obligations under packaging law and ensures compliance with Austrian administrative regulations.
